Dressing up as the Easter bunny may have been cute when you were under the age of — oh, we don’t know — 10, but now as an adult, we have something totally different in mind when we think of getting festive for the spring holiday. From pastel eye makeup and lip pairings to floral creations, there are so many ways to play with makeup for Easter. Read on to get inspired by five spring-y beauty looks to debut on Easter this year (that won’t make you feel like you’re channeling a rabbit).

Sugar Rush

With multi-colored oval shapes, this sweet look reminds us of candy-coated chocolate Easter eggs. We love how @mbalichristinam added extra pops of color on her bottom lashes.

Sprigs of Lavender

For a sweet but subtle take on Easter makeup, try swiping a muted lavender shade all over your lids and deepening up the lash line with an amethyst liner. A pop of pink in the inner corner adds light and is a fun way to play with color.

Easter Glam

Who says that spring makeup has to be soft and understated? Amp up a pastel look with a glitter cut crease like @danareneemakeup did here using a pink glitter eyeliner. We love the Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in Grind.

A Rainbow of Pastels

Why choose one shade of pastel eyeshadow when you can use them all? Here, we love the contrast between the soft colors and the sharp wing.

Minty Fresh

A mint green eye look with a rosy pink lip just screams spring. If you don’t have a pastel green eyeshadow at home, do what @letiziamarcondes did and mix a brighter or darker green hue with some foundation to get a lighter look. Make the look your own with one of the many pastel shades in the NYX Professional Makeup Jumbo Eye Pencils — Macaroon is the perfect bright seafoam shade.

Spring Has Sprung

It doesn’t get more festive than a spring floral eye. For a look that only appears like it requires major makeup skills to create, use pressed flowers. You can apply them with eyelash glue anywhere you want. This floral set from Amazon comes in a variety of colors to match any makeup look you dream up.
